April 2024 MCC President's Observation Notes

Thank you to the 100 standing-room-only participants at the MCC Government Accountability Committee's Local Government Reception experiment at the Aquatorium. The experiment copied the many Indiana legislative receptions I have attended where 90% of the time is spent one-on-one with your legislator. We learned that we need a larger area and more one-on-one time. As for the Miller Message, it gained 30 new subscribers from this event. By the way, Tom Eaton ended his 40+ years as editor in 2018 with just under 300 subscribers, now the Miller Message has 970 subscribers.
